The Hillary Rodham Clinton Center for Citizenship, Leadership, and Democracy will prepare students for a lifetime of civic engagement. As Clinton Fellows, starting in the fall of 2024 all sophomores will have the opportunity to participate in a year-long program focused on developing the skills of active citizenship, while learning to understand and address global challenges.

Through an immersive Civic Action Lab experience and the year-long Civic Innovator and Scholar Series, students learn from scholars and practitioners who are on the front lines of social change, both on campus and off. With the guidance of Wellesley faculty and staff, Clinton Fellows practice the skills of understanding issues from diverse perspectives, listening and learning across difference.

The center will be a hub for faculty research and collaboration and through events like an annual summit, will bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world to seek solutions to strengthen democracy and promote women’s leadership.
